Allergic Rhinitis / Hay Fever
Background Treatment
Poumon Histamine 15 CH and Pollens 15 CH
One dose of each per week during the pollination period
Symptomatic Treatment
Take 5 pellets alternating between whichever of the following remedies is most indicated, as often as needed during sneezing fits. Space out or stop as symptoms improve or disappear.
Sabadilla
4 CH- spasmodic sneezing
- hypersensitivity to the smell of flowers
- itching of the soft palate that forces the person to rub it with the tongue
- worse from cold
Nux vomica
5 CH- morning sneezing
- hypersensitivity to odors
- dry coryza at night, runny during the day
Naphtalinum
9 CH- sneezing in bursts
- irritation of the nose and eyes
Allium cepa
5 CH- sneezing with clear, burning discharge, irritating the upper lip
- non-irritating eye discharge (stinging eyes)
- improvement in fresh air
5 pellets every 2 or 3 hours. Space out as improvement occurs.
Euphrasia officinalis
5 CH- non-irritating clear discharge
- irritating tearing, conjunctival redness
- inflammation and sticking together of the eyelids
5 pellets every 2 or 3 hours. Space out as improvement occurs.
Kalium iodatum
7 CH- burning, profuse watery coryza, with red swollen nose
- constriction at the bridge of the nose, frontal sinus pain
- sneezing, tearing, burning eyes
5 pellets every 2 or 3 hours. Space out as improvement occurs.
Oligotherapy Supplement
Starting in February:
Oligo Manganèse N°1350
1 dose (=50 drops) every week
At the height of the pollination season, add:
Oligo Phosphore N°1843
1 dose (=50 drops) every other day, alternating with
Oligo Soufre N°1113
1 dose (=50 drops) on the other day
